Frequently asked questions
1. What types of boilers do you sell?
We offer a range of combi, system, regular and heat-only boilers from established heating manufacturers. Product availability may vary by brand and output.
2. How do I choose the right boiler for my home?
The right boiler depends on your property size, number of bathrooms, hot-water demand and existing heating system. A qualified heating engineer should assess your property before purchase or installation.
3. What is the difference between a combi, system and regular boiler?
A combi boiler provides heating and hot water without a separate cylinder. A system boiler works with a hot-water cylinder, while a regular boiler normally uses both a cylinder and a cold-water storage tank.
4. Can BoilerLines recommend the correct boiler size?
We can provide general product guidance, but the final boiler type and output should be confirmed by a qualified heating professional who has assessed your property.
5. Do your boilers include a flue?
Some boilers are sold with a horizontal flue, while others are supplied as boiler-only products. The package contents are clearly stated on each product page.
6. Can I purchase a vertical flue instead of a horizontal flue?
Compatible vertical flues may be available as separate accessories. Always confirm compatibility with the exact boiler model before ordering.
7. Do you sell boiler accessories separately?
Yes. Our accessories range may include flues, extensions, filters, thermostats, controls and other installation components.
8. How can I check whether an accessory is compatible with my boiler?
Review the compatibility information on the product page and compare the boiler model and manufacturer reference. Contact our support team before ordering when you are uncertain.
9. Do you provide boiler installation?
BoilerLines primarily supplies boilers and heating products. Unless specifically stated, installation is not included and must be arranged with a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.
10. Can I install the boiler myself?
No. Gas boilers must be installed and commissioned by an appropriately qualified Gas Safe registered engineer in accordance with applicable regulations and manufacturer instructions.
11. Where do you deliver?
Delivery is available to selected UK locations, with priority service within London. Availability may depend on the delivery postcode and the type or size of the order.
12. How will my order be delivered?
Some orders, particularly within supported London areas, may be delivered using our own vehicles. Other delivery arrangements may vary depending on the product and destination.
13. How can I check whether you deliver to my postcode?
Enter your delivery details during checkout where available, or contact our support team before placing your order. Certain postcode restrictions may apply.
14. How long will delivery take?
Estimated dispatch and delivery information will be shown where available or confirmed after the order is reviewed. Delivery times may vary by product availability, postcode and order size.
15. What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Inspect the goods as soon as possible and report any visible damage promptly. Keep the packaging and send clear photographs of the product, packaging and delivery label to our support team.
16. Can I return a boiler or accessory?
Eligible unused products may be returned in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy. Return eligibility can depend on the product condition, packaging and whether installation has taken place.
17. Can an opened or installed boiler be returned?
Products that have been installed, connected, commissioned or used may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return. Please review the Returns & Refunds Policy before arranging installation.
18. What happens if I order the wrong product?
Contact us as soon as possible and do not open, install or use the item. Return approval, collection charges and restocking conditions may apply in accordance with our returns policy.
19. Who provides the product warranty?
Product warranties are provided by the relevant manufacturer. Warranty duration and conditions vary by brand, model and installation requirements.
20. How do I make a warranty claim?
Register the product where required and retain your invoice, serial number and commissioning documents. Warranty claims are normally handled directly between the customer and the manufacturer under the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
